Become a PCO

As a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO), you have one of the most important roles in our party!

You will be on the front lines of winning elections up and down the ballot – from the School Board to the Senate. Here’s what PCOs do:

  • PCOs are the main point of information and contact for voters in their neighborhoods and within the Democratic Party. As a PCO, your most important day-to-day job will be talking to your neighbors. Your conversations help identify key voters so you can reach out to them effectively during campaigns. You will also ensure their voices are heard in local party decisions.

  • PCOs elect local, county, and state Party leadership.

  • PCOs nominate to fill vacancies in the State House of Representatives and the State Senate.
